Wayne MacDonald is President of Infinity Consulting and Legal Services Inc (ICLS). He has over 40 years experience in international development, humanitarian assistance and program evaluation. Prior to leaving the Government of Canada, Wayne held management/executive positions with the Social Sciences Humanities and Research Council (SSHRC), Canadian International Development Agency (former CIDA), the Geneva-based International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and UNICEF in New York. He has published numerous articles in the Canadian Government Executive Magazine, UN Special Magazine, Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation and American Journal of Evaluation. In 2010, Wayne co-edited an issue of New Directions for Evaluation, “Enhancing Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Response and Recovery through Evaluation.” Wayne completed three years of doctoral studies and obtained a Masters degree in Sociology from Carleton University, as well as received a Certificate in Evaluation Practice (CEP) from The Evaluators’ Institute, Claremont Graduate University (California).
