Luc Juillet, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Ottawa

Professor Luc Juillet teaches public management and democratic government at the University of Ottawa, where he also previously served as founding Director of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, Associate Director of the Department of Political Studies and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is also the Associate Editor of the journal Canadian Public Administration and Series Editor of the IPAC Series on Public Management and Governance at the University of Toronto Press. With Catherine Liston-Heyes, he is currently completing a SSHRC-funded project on public auditing in Canada. Their research on public auditing has been published in several international journals, including Pubic Administration, Financial Management & Accountability, and Public Management Review. He also completed a study on the value of internal auditing in the public sector for the Government Internal Auditors Council of Canada. During his career, Professor Juillet also did research and advisory work for several government agencies, including the Treasury Board of Canada, the Public Service Commission, Justice Canada, and he served as international expert for the Ministry of Administrative Reform of the Government of Greece.
