Irene Huse, University of Victoria

Irene Huse holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Northern British Columbia, and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Victoria. 

She has worked as an evaluator and a researcher in universities and the private sector. She has also worked as a senior policy analyst in the public sector. While working on her PhD in Public Administration, she co-authored articles in the American Journal of Evaluation, Canadian Public Administration, the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation, and New Directions for Evaluation. She has also co-authored the second and third editions of Program Evaluation and Performance Measurement: An Introduction to Practice, with James McDavid and Laura Hawthorn. Her key research focus is spending reviews and the budgetary process.
