Mahyar holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science in Urban Affairs Management from the University of Tehran. He currently serves as a Research Associate II at the University of Ottawa, where he contributes to a range of projects in the social sciences and humanities, with a focus on public administration, governance, and urban affairs.

In his role, Mahyar brings expertise in project planning and management, data collection and analysis, research writing, and knowledge mobilization. He also acts as Project Coordinator at the University of Ottawa’s Centre on Governance, supporting the oversight and execution of multiple governance and public policy initiatives.

Mahyar is driven by a passion for continuous learning and social impact. His international academic and professional background allows him to bring diverse perspectives to collaborative research with scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and community partners.
