Jacky Tweedie is a former Canadian federal public service director. While in government, she worked primarily on transformation files: expenditure review; implementing new legislative or policy requirements; and on service delivery renewal. The last several years of her public service career were spent leading digital transformation files. She has worked for the Treasury Board Secretariat, in large line departments as well as small agencies. She has led corporate management functions, program-level digital transformation delivering public-facing services, or in digital transformation (IT) branches. She built agile, multidisciplinary teams that delivered products and services that work. Currently, she is in academia. Her research focus centres on senior management decision-making behaviour for digital transformation in the federal public service. Some current projects include: digital transformation research; strategic as well as program review; as well as delivering executive coaching sessions.
