Art Stewart is a consultant and author with extensive experience in governance, performance measurement, comptrollership, audit, and HR management. Prior to leaving the federal public service, he was senior advisor to the Comptroller General for Canada.

His articles on governance, public sector management, values & ethics, and continuous learning are featured regularly in management publications, including a bi-weekly column for the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA). Art is currently Chair, PPX Learning Events, and is past PPX President and Treasurer.
