Katie Brown is Chief of Staff to the Superintendent at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI).  She has been at OSFI since 2008 and her previous roles include Manager Corporate Planning and Risk Management, Audit Manager, and Director of Risk Sector Central Operations.  Her current role allows her to focus on organization-wide strategic matter and support senior leadership through applying her experience in results-based management and stakeholder relationship skills.  Her areas of expertise include strategy, risk management, planning, performance measurement, business analysis, and process improvement.

Before joining OSFI, she acquired both national and international experience in private and the public sectors, including roles at Telefonica UK, Export Development Canada and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She has a Commerce degree from Carleton University and a Masters degree in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK.  Katie joined as a Board member in 2014, and has served as Symposium Chair (2 years) and PPX President (3 years).
