Invitation to Attend the 2015 PPX Symposium

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Performance and Planning Exchange (PPX) and the Symposium Planning Committee, I am inviting you to participate in our Nineteenth Annual PPX Symposium scheduled May 19 to 21, 2015.
Our theme for 2015, Planning and Performance: Getting It Right reflects a back to basics approach which more closely aligns to the core mission of PPX and the expressed needs of our members. Under this banner, we will be pursuing the following three streams:
• Improving Strategic and Operational Planning
• Strengthening Performance Measurement and Reporting
• Building Better Links With Other Functional Areas (such as audit, evaluation, risk management, financial management, human resource management and project management )
For May 19, we will be expanding our offering with up to three pre-symposium training sessions. The feedback we got from our symposium participants gave high praise to our RBM 101 course, which was aimed at those new to Results-based Management (RBM). We are planning to add an intermediate level RBM course as well as a course on integrated planning to respond to the needs of our members. All our full day courses are replete with case studies and in-class exercises.
May 20 and 21 will be devoted to featuring our keynote speakers, concurrent breakout sessions and trade show exhibitors. A roster of keynote speakers is currently being recruited which we expect will rival or even surpass the very impressive and highly rated speakers we had for our 2014 Symposium.
Our concurrent breakout sessions will be emphasizing technical solutions to challenges, with clear learning objectives and more hands-on, practical knowledge and tools. We want to connect our symposium participants more closely with subject matter experts and help them obtain practical take-always they can bring to their jobs. If you are interested in presenting material at out concurrent sessions or know someone who would, please see our Request for Proposals posted on the PPX site.

The PPX Symposium
